Forklift (LF)
The aim of this program is to ensure participants have the skills and knowledge to operate a Counter Balanced Forklift and meet the requirements of the Victorian Workcover Authority.

The program examines key aspects in conducting routine checks, planning work, checking controls and equipment, load shifting and shutting down & securing equipment.

The course can be conducted at one of Journey Management's Skills Training Centres or the participant's Workplace.

Pre requisites:
You must be over 18 years of age and will need to bring:
  •  photographic identification, and
  •  wear suitable clothing & closed toe shoes.
Duration:
Training is available for student of different skill levels, ranging from 2 day Training & Test (for introduction to the Forklift) to a simple 2 hour Test only.
Outcome:
A Journey Management Statement of Attainment and a WorkSafe application for a "Licence to Perform High Risk Work" will be provide to successful applicants.
