| The Mass Management Accreditation Program
was developed by Vic Roads in partnership with the industry to allow
accredited operators to use documented assurance systems that demonstrate
compliance with regulations. Accreditation to the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) Mass Management Module is also a pre-requisite for the operation of vehicles at the higher Mass limits on approved routes. The manuals we provide outline the procedures and practices to be used by the company to comply with the requirements of the NHVAS They will assist you to meet the criteria within each standard and serve as indicators as to how an operator would demonstrate their compliance with the standards. Our Mass Management System will accredit the company to operate vehicles at the higher Mass limits. During the trial phase leading up to an 'on-entry' audit and accreditation to NHVAS, our system is designed to ensure the company can operate its vehicles at the higher statutory limits. |
