| Accidents and injury from manual handling
remain an area of concern for the industry. This program looks at
state and federal regulations as well as company policies for the
workplace. Importance will be placed on lifting and back care with
examples of best practice reviewed. Our program aims to minimise risk
to the employer and employee and will be customised to your requirements. In short, participants will learn to: • shift materials safely using manual handling methods; • shift a load using manually - operated equipment; and • conduct housekeeping activities.
The course can be completed at Journey Management Skills Centre or can be arranged at participants Workplace. |
